This time is the engine oil change of TDM900.

TDM900 is dry sump, so there are two drain bolts. Loosen the drain bolt on the left side as well to drain the oil.

Also, when closing the drain bolt, replace the drain washer. Left is M14, right is M10.

Start the engine a little to get the engine oil that doesn’t come out.
I will not replace the oil filter this time, but loosen the cover to drain the oil remaining on the filter.

It will come out quite a lot.

Here is the oil to put in this time, MOTUL 3100 GOLD 10W-40 4T.

Loosen the oil filler cap on the upper right of the engine.

Fill the oil there. Then close the cap and start the engine once. The cap doubles as an oil level gauge, so check it.

This time, I decided to add Maruyama molybdenum. Addition amount is 5%. The amount of oil in TDM900 is 3.9L when the filter is replaced, so I added about 180ml.

Check the gauge and adjust the amount of oil. I’d like to review the effect of molybdenum in the next video.
